The thing I'm building (and testing) for the next month

Stop being invisible to AI search. Join a hands-on session to build LLM-optimized content and get more qualified leads. Nov 10, limited to 12 people.

I was at a great conference earlier this month - The 1682 conference - and heard several AI consultants mention they're rebuilding their websites.

    Not for humans.

    For LLMs.

Google's AI overviews. ChatGPT search. Claude. Perplexity.

These tools are reading our sites differently now. And most of us are still writing for 2019 Google SEO.

I've started testing this. Putting new content on my site. Comparing my services to alternatives. Writing the content my clients actually search for—formatted so LLMs can parse it.

Some experiments worked. Some didn't. I'm documenting what's working.

Here's what I'm seeing: Fewer leads. But more qualified. People who find you through AI have already done research. They're comparing options, not just browsing.

And you're building a competitive moat. Most people aren't doing this yet. By the time they catch up, you'll have months of refinement.

Plus: when LLMs recommend you, they're vouching for you. It's authority at scale.

My friend Annaline saw her summer camp registrations drop to almost zero. For months, she couldn't figure out why.

Bots had crowded out her real buyers.

She restructured her entire site with AI search in mind. Sales came back immediately.

The content she created in that process? It's exactly what we'll be exploring here. Her data will help shape our approach.

Between now and November 10, I'm running more tests. Different structures. Different formats. Different prompts.

If I'm going to obsessively test 15 variations of the same content, someone else should benefit.

Then on Wed November 12 (noon-1:30pm ET), I'm teaching what I learned.

It's a maker session. That means: short, guided, we build together and get stuff done.

Here's how the 90 minutes work:

    • First 20 minutes: What we've found so far. I'll share what Annaline and I have tested and what's working.

    • Next 20 minutes: Audit your site. We'll identify what's missing and where to start.

    • Next 40 minutes: Build your content. Using our samples and prompts, you'll draft your priority content.

    • Final 10 minutes: Your implementation plan. Map out the rest of your site content updates.

You'll leave with your new content drafted and formatted for LLMs. Plus the template to do the rest yourself.

So as you add new offerings, you can keep writing content that brings more qualified leads into your business.

A follow-up session after Thanksgiving is included. To check your results. See what's working.

This isn't a polished system. It's me, a few weeks ahead of you, sharing what's working.

The advantage of learning from someone still testing? You get the newest thinking. Not last year's playbook.

The session is $67 (founder pricing for the first cohort).

Limited to 12 people so everyone gets feedback.

It's the first in a series of maker sessions. I don't know what the rest will cover yet. I'm leaving space to respond to what you need.

This one felt urgent. Because the AI consultants I respect are already moving on this.

If you want in, come sign up.

If not: watch this space. I'll share some of what I learn here too.
