Answer Engine Optimization for business owners
Ask an AI to recommend a business like yours. Then ask again tomorrow. Different answer.
It's a roll of the dice, not a ranking. This workshop increases your odds.
Tues, September 1 · 1–3 PM ET · Live on Zoom · $297
Open ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini right now. Ask it to recommend a business like yours in your area.
Then ask again tomorrow.
You will probably get a different answer. Different names, different order, sometimes a business that has no business being there.
That is the actual situation. Not a ranking you hold or lose. A roll that runs again every time somebody asks.
Most people selling this will tell you they can put you in the answer. They cannot. Nobody can.
What you can do is change the odds. And two hours is enough to get a solid start.
This is not a walkthrough of somebody else's business. Two hours, on yours.
A briefing on how AI engines currently see you
The questions your buyers are actually asking, in their words
The one thing about your business a competitor could not say
Six pages written and ready to publish
The current landscape report and the recording
Six pages. Written. Not a plan to write them.
Most of what gets sold as AEO is format tricks. The factors anyone has measured are few, and they are boring.
Answer the question your buyer is actually asking, in their words.
Lead with the answer, not the marketing.
Put something on the page only you could have written.
Keep an honest date on it.
That is most of the available gain. The rest is noise that vendors charge for.
You leave with six pages built that way.
On September 15, Cloudflare changes a default that can quietly remove a business from AI answers.
It hits some sites and not others. We will cover that as well.
Attention is moving to answer engines. Your ads may be feeling that, or they may be slipping for one of a dozen other reasons. Worth knowing which.
What is clearer: somebody who arrives from an AI answer has already been recommended, not just shown a link. Fewer visitors. Warmer ones.
And it moves weekly. The engine that named you in June may not name you in September.
Most owners are working from assumptions six to twelve months old. You cannot read a shift without a starting point. This is the starting point.
Business owners and SMBs who:
Have heard a real customer say "I asked ChatGPT and it suggested…"
Used to show up in Google and are not sure what is happening now
Want a clear read on where they stand, not another pitch
Have two hours and want to leave with pages, not a framework deck
If you are already deep in AEO, the first half will be familiar. Come for the second.
Most AEO work optimizes the format and not the assumptions underneath that determine whether an engine names you or absorbs your content un-attributed.
A laptop and paid account for ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Your homepage copy, pasted somewhere you can reach it.
Small group. Recording sent the next day.
Rose Thun runs Design Rosetta, an AI training and strategy practice for business owners. THEIA-certified trainer. Creator of the JERK framework, a method for reading business signals at the layer most people miss.
She convenes the Design Rosetta AEO working group, a small invitation-only set of operators building this playbook in real time. What you see in the workshop comes out of that work.
